November 22nd — 10th Grade Humanities
Project Description:
Task #3 – Game Design
A potential client wants us to create an interactive game about U.S. History and Architecture Styles. They want it to either be a learning game or a test of knowledge.
Structure:
In a small group or pair, design and develop a unique game that will win the contract and be mass produced. Your game concept must have learning/knowledge of U.S. History and Architecture in the four eras we have studied, include the essential elements of similar games, and be fun!
Evaluation/Assessment Method:
The following are questions you may use as you evaluate their work and support their efforts:
What strategies did you use to design your game?
How did your group decide on dividing responsibilities?
Describe how the group managed its time.
How well did group members stay on task during the project?
What obstacles did your group encounter along the way?
Describe how effective your group was in accomplishing the task.
What are some ways your team could have been more effective?
