November 28th – 10th Grade Spanish Exhibitions
Project Description:
Picture Prompt Project
Students will select a project of their choice related to Architecture, Engineering or Construction. They are to design, re-design, create or re-create something based on a picture they found.
Structure:
The project is two-fold as they have to have a drawing or model to show and they are to make a presentation about that model.
Students are to talk as if they are a member of a certain profession. They are to explain what their project is, what its purpose is, who it may be designed for or who uses this item/design, where we might find this item, why it is used and how it may be used. They are to list a process of how this project usually is accomplished.
Assessment/Evaluation Method:
They will be graded using the following rubric:
Presentation moves in a clear, logical progression from an introduction to supporting details to a conclusion, with smooth transitions (e.g., is easy to follow)
Presentation emphasizes key ideas/information that is accurate and appropriate for the purpose of the presentation (e.g., it has the right amount of information, and all information and ideas are relevant, important, and accurate)
Presentation’s introduction uses techniques to engage audience; the conclusion leaves audience with a clear message and/or strong impression
