Thank you for participating in the 9th grade dual Spanish and Humanities Exhibitions. On Thursday, November 30 and Friday, December 1, 2011

Students will present an architectural proposal set in the context of Old Town, Albuquerque of a building in Old Town: Design inspiration drawn from historical research and local design: in the form of a project statement in Spanish, architectural drawings (by hand and computer) and an architecturtal foamcore model set in the urban planning cardboard model of a building in Old Town.

The presentation and exhibition will be completely in Spanish and is part of their “Landmarks” job. You will be critiquing the Spanish classes Plaza Vieja: Old Town and all the individual buildings they created.

They will tell you the following:
Name and grade
Building they created
History of the building

Location to other buildings
Talk about words that deal with Southwest Architecture
